FIRE / SECURITY ALARM TECHNICIAN / INSTALLER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

​

Fairview Protection is looking for an experienced security and fire alarm technician who has history with working on a project from the installation all the way through to the final inspection. Technicians will be a part of our professional team that has the responsibility of installing and servicing Intrusion Alarms, Camera Systems, Access Control Systems and Fire Alarms.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

​

Alarm industry experience
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Exhibit an ability to read, interpret and communicate technical information
Maintain a friendly and respectful attitude towards clients
Valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record
Pass background check and drug screening

FIRE / SECURITY ALARM SYSTEM DESIGNER and ESTIMATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION:

​

We are currently seeking hard working, self-motivated individuals to join our team; candidates must have a desire for personal growth and advancement. The professionals that will be accepted for this position will work within our design department to provide estimates to new and existing clients for new installations, upgrades and add-ons of fire alarms and security systems.


REQUIREMENTS:

​

Alarm industry experience is required
CAD experience is a plus however not required
Ability to work independently
Apply an understanding of construction principles in how they relate to the design of systems and services
Exhibit an ability to read, interpret and communicate technical information.
Practice good organizational skills
Have comprehensive experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Display strong communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, personable, responds to client's concerns, and enjoys pleasing the client
Pass background check and drug screening
